Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job is for a supervisor leading a team of about 20 people in managing daily operations for Navy systems focused on surveillance, tactical sensors, and torpedo defense.
It involves overseeing engineering projects, improving processes, analyzing data, and handling administrative tasks like budgeting and personnel.
A good fit would be an experienced engineer or scientist with leadership skills in defense technology, particularly in sensors and naval systems, who enjoys guiding teams and solving technical challenges.
You will serve as a SUPERVISOR in the EXPD SURV & TACTICAL SYS of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band NM-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leads process improvement activities; or collect and analyze metrics for use in the management and direction of programs; or analyze and evaluate proposed changes in policy and procedures and communicate impact and contingencies.
