This supervisory role in the Navy's cyber and science technology department involves overseeing daily operations for a team of about 200 scientists, engineers, and support staff, while managing staffing, training, and project delivery for information operations systems.
It requires leading process improvements, analyzing metrics and policy changes, and collaborating with various leaders to resolve issues in facilities, IT, security, and contracts.
A good fit would be an experienced manager with a background in technical program oversight, strong leadership skills, and the ability to handle complex team and project challenges in a government or defense setting.
You will serve as a SUPERVISOR in the CYBER/SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
NM-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NM-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Lead process improvement activities; collect and analyze metrics for use in the management and direction of programs; and analyze and evaluate proposed changes in policy and procedures and communicate impact and contingencies; lead Center level teams and engages with other Divisions and Departments for Center level efforts.
NM-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NM-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Lead process improvement activities; collect and analyze metrics for use in the management and direction of programs; and analyze and evaluate proposed changes in policy and procedures and communicate impact and contingencies.
