Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading a team of scientists and engineers in a naval technology division, overseeing daily operations, projects, and budgets to develop advanced systems.

Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISOR in the ELECTROMAGNETICS & ADV TECH DIVISION of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band NM-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading a team and providing technical, project management, and contract oversight of branch projects, applying understanding of basic budgetary and financial management principles and techniques, AND providing subject matter expertise to branch projects.

  • You will analyze and evaluate methods and techniques for assessing project development or execution and improving effectiveness and efficiency.
  • You will perform work that involves directly managing projects and provides advice and guidance on specific technical aspects of systems or concept development.
