Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team of scientists and engineers in a naval technology division, overseeing daily operations, projects, and budgets to develop advanced systems.
It requires hands-on management of technical work and providing expert advice on innovative projects.
A good fit would be someone with leadership experience in engineering or science fields, strong project management skills, and a background in government or defense-related work.
You will serve as a SUPERVISOR in the ELECTROMAGNETICS & ADV TECH DIVISION of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band NM-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading a team and providing technical, project management, and contract oversight of branch projects, applying understanding of basic budgetary and financial management principles and techniques, AND providing subject matter expertise to branch projects.
