Full Job Description

This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service.

It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.

It is in the Technician/Administrative Support Work Category at the Entry/Developmental Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA OC/CE/PACIFIC FIELD COMMAND.

Student Interns qualify based on their educational achievements. To qualify at the GG-04 - Completion of 2 full academic years of post-high school study or an associate's degree.

To qualify at the GG-05 - Completion of 4 academic years of post-high school leading to a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree.

To qualify at the GG-07 - Completion of 1 full academic year of graduate level education; or Eligibility under the Superior Academic Achievement Provision and completion of a bachelor's degree.

To qualify at the GG-09 - Completion of 2 academic years of graduate level education, or a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree.

All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement. To be creditable, education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university.

You must report only attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions that are recognized by the U.S.

Department of Education Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services at the time of application.

National Association of Credential Evaluation Services . Major Duties:

  • Performs a variety of assignments within the Management Analysis field involving different and unrelated situations, processes and methods
  • Studies regulations and manuals to become familiar with the mission and technical responsibilities of the agency and the programs involved.
  • Provides advice and guidance on the interpretation and application of new administrative and/or program management directives and instructions to determine effects of changes on existing operations
  • Conducts evaluations and assessments of various administrative and management programs.
