Full Job Description

This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Secretary of Health and Human Services, Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, headquartered in Washington, District of Columbia.

I WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: Be in good academic standing and maintain at least a 2.5 GPA (cumulative) for an undergraduate degree program or at least a 3.0 GPA in a professional master's degree program.

AND For GS-05:Have completed 4 academic years of post high school study leading to a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Student Trainee (Administrative), you will use your knowledge of and experience with the Assistant Secretary for Technology Policy to optimize business results and customer experience by: Assisting senior staff with routine program support tasks, including planning, scheduling, and coordination of meetings; maintenance and distribution of publications and meeting materials.

Assisting with developing memoranda, letters, reports, background papers and talking points for speeches or briefings.
