Requirements

The Stock Clerk 2 position is responsible for ordering, receiving, and disbursing goods necessary for the operation and maintenance of Torrance State Hospital.

Our storeroom works closely with the purchasing and accounting staff as well as interacts with the staff in Harrisburg to meet the obligations of our hospital. Some duties in this role include:

  • Develops efficient storage methods, including the allocation and arrangement of bins for storage
  • Maintains accurate informational records for each purchase order document
  • Maintains good sanitary conditions in all storeroom areas, medical supply areas, stationery, and clothing storeroom
  • Receives, examines, and records the receipt of supplies
  • Receives delivery orders and places in proper storage areas

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of experience in stockroom, warehouse, or clerical work; and graduation from high school; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

  • A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
