Summary

This job involves greeting visitors at a welcome center in Clare, Michigan, handing out maps and brochures, and sharing tips on fun places to visit and things to do in the state.

THIS IS A NON-CAREER APPOINTMENT THAT IS LIMITED TO 129 HOURS PER MONTH AND 719 HOURS PER APPOINTMENT


Multiple vacancies may be filled utilizing this posting.


This position is a direct representative of the State of Michigan to the traveling public.

As a travel counselor, provide and distribute literature, information, and guidance on travel and vacation activities within the state.

Assist in preparing literature displays in the center and assist in clerical work. Work schedule includes weekends and holidays.
