Requirements

As a Staff Physician 2, you will provide comprehensive medical care and ensure resident safety through routine coverage and on-call rotations. Serving as a clinical leader within an interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for performing physical examinations, diagnosing conditions through laboratory interpretation, and executing therapeutic care plans. Your role will require precise clinical documentation for Medicare billing, the issuance of detailed medication orders, and regular consultation with courts, families, and medical colleagues to oversee the general welfare of all residents.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This may change based on operational needs.
    • On-call schedule for nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Overtime as operationally necessary
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirement:

  • Three years of experience and/or training in the practice of medicine.


Special Requirement:
  • You must be in possession of a license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as issued by the State Medicine Board, or the State Osteopathic Medicine Board.
