Summary

This job is for a lead doctor at a veterans' center in Pennsylvania, where you'll provide medical care to veterans and their spouses, manage treatment plans, and oversee other medical staff.

Requirements

In this position, you will provide general medical care and treatment to residents at the center.

Your work will involve coordinating medical care and helping to develop, implement, and evaluate resident care policies and procedures.

You will diagnose and treat medical conditions, write orders and treatment plans, and conduct medical rounds.

Some of your duties will also include ordering medications, charting medical care practices, and preparing referrals to specialists or other medical facilities.

Additionally, you will supervise other members of the medical staff by assigning and evaluating work, interviewing and selecting employees, evaluating employee performance, and determining training needs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Three years of experience and/or training in the practice of medicine.

Special Requirements:

  • You must be in possession of a license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as issued by the State Medicine Board, or the State Osteopathic Medicine Board.
