The Department of Human Services is seeking a skilled and self-directed Staff Physician 2 to join our clinical services team at Clarks Summit State Hospital.

In this position, you will conduct comprehensive admission histories and physical examinations, including neurological assessments, for all new patients.
You will review medical records from community hospitals and prior hospitalizations to develop accurate diagnoses, treatment goals, and individualized care plans.
In collaboration with the attending psychiatrist, you will routinely review patient medication profiles, perform ongoing medical evaluations, and clearly document findings in progress notes.
You will also be responsible for reviewing and updating medical treatment plans to ensure continuity and quality of care.
