Requirements

As part of our dynamic healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care by conducting comprehensive admission histories and physical examinations, including neurological assessments for all new patients. Work involves reviewing medical records from community providers and prior hospitalizations to develop accurate diagnoses, treatment plans, and care goals. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the attending psychiatrist, complete monthly medication reviews and medical evaluations, document findings, as well as update treatment plans to support each patients progress and recovery.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Your schedule may change based on operational needs.
  • Noon on-call rotation is required, with possible on-call and on-site rotations during weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Three years of experience and/or training in the practice of medicine.

Special Requirements:

• This position requires possession of a license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as issued by the State Medicine Board, or the State Osteopathic Medicine Board.

Other Requirements:

• This particular position also requires completion of a residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

• You must pass a background investigation.
• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
  • Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
