Job Description

Summary

This role as a Staff Officer at the Defense Intelligence Agency involves providing administrative and logistical support in embassy settings, working with senior officials, and making decisions to support national security missions.

It requires handling tasks in logistics, housing, finance, and security without close supervision.

Extensive experience and demonstrated proficiency in administrative and logistical support in an interagency embassy environment, with thorough understanding of DIA, DoD and Dept.

of State regulations as they apply to Logistics, Housing, Finance, and Security. 2.

Experience working with senior ranking officials, briefing, mentoring, and providing constructive and positive feedback to customers and partners assigned to embassy platforms. 3.

With no supervision, completes work, meets priorities, and achieved results based on the organization’s goals and objectives. 4.

Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills to compose and deliver responses to complex questions in a clear, concise, and organized manner. 5.

Applies decision making techniques in complex situations to include anticipating and recognizing best practices and choosing options to maximize benefits to the office, directorate, or Agency.
