This job involves helping run sports programs and events at a military base in Fort Drum, New York, including setting up tournaments, promoting activities, maintaining equipment, and supporting soldiers and their families through recreation services.
A good fit would be someone energetic and organized who enjoys working with people, has basic experience in sports or event coordination, and is willing to get certified in first aid and CPR.
This position is located at the Sports branch of the Business Recreation Division. This position is for Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum, New York.
FMWR includes Child and Youth Services, Business Recreation, and Support Services, which enable Soldier readiness, support the resilience and well-being of Soldiers and Families.

A qualified candidate must possess the ability to: - assisting in setting up and publicizing special events and sport tournaments, - assisting with delivery of posters, flyers, and other promotional materials, and - assisting customers, AND obtain and maintain a nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
