Join Williamsburg Technical College! We're looking for Speech / Public Speaking Adjunct Instructors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Instruction delivered to a diverse student body using effective teaching strategies. Maintain high level of excellence in teaching by communication and interacting effectively.
Instruction includes hands on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks (reports, syllabus, lesson plan development).
**Flexible Schedule is required (i.e. day/evening). Courses may be delivered in various formats; distance education, online, hybrid, in-person, dual enrollment (local high schools), on and off campus, correctional facilities, etc..
Master's degree in English, Public Speaking, Rhetoric or a related degree with 18 or more graduate semester hours in English, Public Speaking, Rhetoric or related subject required.
Post Secondary teaching experience.
