Requirements

In this position, you will provide a broad range of services and interventions to individuals with a primary mental health diagnosis. You will ensure that all services are appropriate, effective, and responsive to consumers of diverse ages and backgrounds. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to address challenges and improve service quality, while consistently meeting Medicare and Medical Assistance program requirements.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Your schedule may change based on operational needs.
• Overtime and travel: As needed
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $51,971.00 (before taxes).

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• A bachelor's or master’s degree in social work or social welfare.
• Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

Other Requirements:

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:.

• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and a drug screening.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
  • Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
