In this position, you will be conducting the following duties
Senior and Disabilities Services' mission is to promote the health, well-being, and safety of vulnerable adults and children.
Adult Protective Services staff contribute to the division's mission by working with individuals, providing a variety of available services, helping them make informed decisions about those services, and allowing them to care for themselves.You will be helping to ensure vulnerable adults who are experiencing abuse, neglect, and/or exploitation are safe in their homes and communities.
As the Social Services Program Coordinator, you will be a part of the APS management team. As part of this dynamic team, you will make a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable and older adults.
You will be joining a division that currently works a Hybrid telework schedule. Telework agreements are possible after a three-month training period, subject to supervisory approval.Investigation: Knowledge of the guidelines, regulations, and procedures associated with investigation, including interviewing, evidence detection, locating, gathering, and handling, and drawing appropriate factual inferences and conclusions.
Provide oral or written reports of findings. Presenting evidence and providing testimony.
Quality Management: Knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools of quality assurance, quality control, and reliability used to ensure that a project, system, or product fulfills requirements and standards
Partnering: Develops networks and builds alliances; collaborates across boundaries to build strategic relationships and achieve common goals
