This job involves inspecting, maintaining, and doing minor repairs on rental outdoor equipment like boats, ATVs, snowmobiles, and trailers at a military base recreation center to keep everything ready for soldiers and their families.
A good fit would be someone handy with tools who enjoys working on small engines and helping people use gear safely.
It's a hands-on role focused on safety, quick fixes, and basic upkeep in a supportive community setting.
This position is located at Outdoor Recreation but may fill other vacancies in the Business Recreation Division.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: general knowledge of operational and repair characteristics requirements for small gasoline engine powered equipment, AND ability to use a variety of hand tools and equipment required in small engine repair work., AND ability to read manufacturer's manuals and to determine repair parts requirements., AND ability to complete such entries as issue and turn-in dates, item names, and stock or part numbers on issue, and turn-in forms.
