You will serve as a Sheet Metal Mechanic Leader in the Aviation Maintenance/Material Department of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO LEAD OR SUPERVISE I have the ability to independently perform the most difficult and complex tasks as an expert or have been consulted by other employees in difficult situations performing duties including: 1) Maintain communication with supervisors and production management informed on the status, progress of work, and constraints; 2) Performs progressive static and dynamic inspections and assessment of assigned Type/Model/Series (TMS) aircraft structural components and accessories on workload such as Integrated Maintenance Concept (IMC), Planned Maintenance Interval (PMI), In-Service Repair (ISR), and Modification; 3) Provide technical advice and recommendation(s) to production, support organizations and customers regarding the examination and evaluation results; 4) I have expert knowledge of the following procedures/processes; Aircraft Log sell, Aircraft Induction, Stricken Aircraft Reclamation and Disposal Process (SARDIP), cannibalization (back rob and divert), Beyond Economic Repair (BER), 7R turn in (Repairable), and Source Maintenance and Recoverability (SM&R); 5) Possess a high degree of analytical ability and experience using advanced inspection and assessment techniques and methods.
Including the use of precision measuring devices and equipment.
