Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is seeking multiple driven and experienced Senior Recruiters to join our collaborative and innovative Talent Acquisition Team.
In this role, you will directly support the mission of SPU by advancing equitable recruitment and screening practices that help build a diverse, inclusive, and service-driven workforce committed to serving Seattle’s communities.
About Seattle Public Utilities: Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is a community-centered utility that delivers vital services to Seattle residents and businesses including drinking water, drainage and wastewater, and garbage/recycling/compost.
SPU also provides drinking water for 1.5 million customers in the region. SPU’s work includes system maintenance and improvements and keeping Seattle clean.

Primary Job Responsibilities for this Senior Recruiter:
This position is responsible for proactively sourcing and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified talent using a variety of recruitment strategies and tools.
As a trusted advisor and partner, you will provide full-cycle recruitment support to meet complex operational and strategic staffing needs.

Experience: Two (2) years of professional experience in recruitment, community outreach, human resources, or related field.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related field; *If no degree, two (2) additional years of relevant experience is required.

The full salary range for this position is $47.39 - $55.19 per hour.
Workplace Environment/Expectation: This position allows for the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. City employees will have the option to work remotely two days a week. Individual schedules will be agreed upon by the employee and their supervisor.
