Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900
Typical requirements: Executive-level leadership experience. Senior executive qualifications required.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This role provides high-level administrative and management support to the Director of the Bureau of Audit in Michigan's Department of Health and Human Services, handling confidential tasks, coordinating meetings, and ensuring smooth operations for the team.
It involves time-sensitive work that helps leadership make decisions and keep things running efficiently.
A good fit would be someone with extensive office experience who is organized, discreet, and comfortable supporting executives in a government setting.
This position is filled through a limited-term Senior Executive Service agreement. Salary commensurate with candidate qualifications.

Serves as the primary administrative and management support to the Director of the Bureau of Audit. Provides a full range of complex, confidential, and time-sensitive administrative and executive support functions necessary to support leadership decision-making and the effective operation of the Bureau. Participates in and supports other administrative functions, including coordination of meetings, events, and internal communications.If applicable, attach a copy of an official transcript(s). Official transcripts provide the name of the institution, confirmation that a degree was awarded and on what date, and the registrar's signature.
