This position is in the Reports Analysis Division (RAD) and can be assigned to any of these three RAD Branches: Authorized, Compliance, and Party/Non-Party, as needed.
The purpose of the work is to review and analyze campaign finance reports and filings to determine adherence to the FEC regulations. This is a bargaining unit position.
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience and/or education requirements described below. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.

Qualifications for GS-0301-12: You must have at least one full year of specialized experience analyzing campaign finance reports to verify information and discern patterns of activities.
This experience must be comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service (obtained either in private or public sectors), and must include activities such as: (1) reviewing and analyzing disclosure reports for compliance with the Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA) and applicable laws, regulations, and precedents; (2) applying qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques to the review of reports to identify and resolve complex issues; (3) using all of the databases, analytical methods and tools of the division; (4) providing training and/or giving guidance to less experienced analysts on the tools and methods used for the review of reports; and (5) providing technical advice to internal or external customers in response to questions about FECA requirements.
TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible.
One year at the GS-11 is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 grade level.
(Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted).
Part-time or unpaid experience: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work.
You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
Volunteer work experience: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
