This job involves leading the development and maintenance of a major tax processing system for the state of Pennsylvania, focusing on designing, testing, and implementing features for handling taxpayer data, tax returns, and related business processes.
A good fit would be an experienced IT professional with strong leadership skills who enjoys working in a team to solve complex problems in a fast-changing environment.
The role offers a mix of office and remote work, supporting the state's revenue and tax administration goals.

As part of the Delivery Center, you will perform development and maintenance activities for the Pennsylvania Tax Hub (PATH) system.
In this role, you will serve as a lead developer on a PATH production support team, providing direction to project staff throughout the systems development life cycle.
You will utilize GenTax tools and components from Fast Enterprises used in the design, system configuration, code development, change management, migration management, and system documentation of business processes for the administration of taxes.
Another key responsibility of this position includes analyzing and translating management and business process objectives and procedures into a technology solution to meet business goals.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Middletown. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
