Requirements
As a Semi-Skilled Laborer, you will be responsible for the upkeep of facility grounds, including the professional care of lawns, flowerbeds, trees, and shrubs using hand and gas powered equipment. Your duties will include maintaining right of ways, parking areas, and ditches, as well as performing minor road patchwork and seasonal snow and ice removal from all pedestrian walkways, ramps, and docks. Beyond groundskeeping, you will provide vital logistical support by hauling furniture, equipment, and supplies; unloading shipments; and facilitating internal relocations. Additionally, you will serve as a versatile assistant to the maintenance and transportation departments, supporting and aiding electricians, plumbers, and mechanics with specialized repairs and projects as directed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Limited-term, full-time employment. These temporary assignments have a maximum duration of 11 months.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This may change based on operational needs.
- Overtime and travel as operationally necessary
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Condition of Employment:
- This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver’s license or equivalent.

- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
