Full Job Description

You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the United States Marine Corps of MARFORRES NOLA.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing and coordinating matters pertaining to anti-terrorism, force protection, physical and operations security, emergency management, and evaluating the effectiveness of agency security programs.

  • You will ensure that the installation's Protection Program properly identifies threats and hazards that might result in the loss of life, compromise sensitive information, mission disruption, and property damage.
  • You will periodically review physical security life cycle in accordance with existing functional area checklists, guidelines, and directives.
  • You will create, draft, and contribute to written facility protection plans, orders, directives, and annexes to existing orders as required for installation protection.
  • You will identify program deficiencies and identify resources needed and prepare and present budget and requests.
