This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency.
The incumbent will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day management of the DoD Golden Sentry End-Use Monitoring (EUM) program for an assigned portfolio of countries to ensure accountability of U.S.-origin defense articles.
You may qualify at the GS-12 grade level, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A.
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service: Assisting in the management of portfolios of assigned partner countries Applying Security Cooperation policies, processes, and procedures to support the export of defense articles and services Applying End Use Monitoring (EUM) principles to Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs Assisting with in-country inspections or contributing to the analysis of a foreign partner's activities on procured defense article Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Major Duties:
As a SECURITY ASSISTANCE ANALYST at the GS-0301-12 some of your typical work assignments may include: Supports the planning and execution of in-country Compliance Assessment Visits (CAVs) and other verification checks to assess partner nation compliance with EUM laws, policies, and procedures.
Contributes to the development and review of EUM policies, implementation guidance, and process improvements to ensure consistency with U.S. laws and regulations.
Serves as a point of contact for EUM matters, coordinating with stakeholders across the Security Cooperation enterprise and maintaining EUM data within key information systems.
Monitors the transfer and end-use of U.S. defense articles and services, assisting in the review of potential violations and requests for third-party transfers.
