Base salary range: $41,966 - $54,557
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-6. Bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement or 1 year graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job is for an administrative secretary in a naval training school, where you'll handle scheduling, manage correspondence, arrange travel, and ensure everything follows policies and procedures.
It's a good fit for someone organized and detail-oriented with experience in office support, especially in a government or military setting.
You'll support high-level staff by preparing materials and advising on compliance, making it ideal for those who enjoy coordinating behind-the-scenes operations.
You will serve as a Secretary (OA) of SURFACE WARFARE OFFICERS SCHOOL.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Scheduling, cooridnating and managing an agenda or calendar to include meetings, visits, appointments and travel.
2) Recieving, reviewing and maintain all correspondence both computer and paper based. 3) Interpretating and applying guidelines, regulations and policies as required.
4) Arranging travel for all Command staff to include travel documents, orders, itineraries and reports.
and 5) Advising and Drafting Equal Employment Opportunity policies in accordance with applicable polices and procedures.
