To qualify for this position at the GS-07 grade level, you must possess the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors).
This experience includes activities such as the following: 1) training, scheduling, and supervising staff engaged in fee collection and customer service; 2) providing clear guidance and feedback to team members, fostering collaboration, and maintaining positive interactions with customers and stakeholders; 3) managing and overseeing fee collection operations, including handling transactions accurately and ensuring proper reconciliation of funds; 4) developing and delivering training to staff on fee collection processes, customer service standards, and system usage to enhance team performance; 5) identifying and resolving software or system issues related to remittance and fee collection processes, ensuring minimal disruption to operations; 6) leading others in implementing fee program objectives and resolving operational challenges to maintain efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).

Major Duties:
The primary purpose of this position is to supervise the performance of clerical and technical work that is associated with the collection, deposit, tracking, and expenditure of fee revenue and donations collected from the public under the authority of Federal laws and regulations such as the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act (FLREA).
The incumbent performs assignments in accordance with all regulations governing the handling of government funds and separation of duties.
