This position is located in a National Park Service Unit.
Performs simple and routine work involved in the maintenance and repair of grounds, exterior structures, buildings and related utilities, requiring the use of a variety of trade practices associated with occupations such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical, cement work, painting, and other related trades.
In order to be qualified for this position you must possess the ability to do the work of the position with no more than normal supervision.
You must have performed simple and routine work involved in the maintenance and repair of grounds, exterior structures, buildings, and related utilities, requiring the use of a variety of trade practices associated with occupations such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical, cement work, painting, and other related trades.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Major Duties:
Major Duties: Performs custodial duties, cleaning, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, empty trash cans, cleaning restrooms. Maintain grounds, grass cutting, remove bush, branches etc.
Able to use and maintain power equipment for facility and grounds (riding mowers, push mowers, weed eaters, bowers). Ability to operate a pickup truck safety, transport, and tow equipment.
Use and maintain hand tools commonly used during facility grounds and maintenance activities such as hammers, wire stretchers post pounders, fence pliers, pulaskis, pick-mattock, axe, hand saws, lopping shears, pry bars, grading rakes, stone hooks, spade.
