Entry salary: $62,107 | Full performance (GS-13): up to $115,079
Career ladder: Start at GS-11 and advance to GS-13 with experience.

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This role involves advising the U.S. Navy on science and technology to improve military operations, such as identifying gaps in capabilities and recommending investments in new tools and tactics.

You will serve as a as a Science Advisor in the Office of Naval Research Global of ONR INTL FIELD OFFICE EUROPE.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NP-03 pay band (GS-11/13 grade level) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Facilitating, coordinating, tracking, and socializing research and development programs; 2) Identifying operational capability gaps; 3) Monitoring and strengthening relationships and collaborations across Naval resourcing, acquisition, development, and operational organizations; 4) Prioritizing technical requirements for operational goals and readiness; 5) Assisting and advising the command on science and technology solutions for operational problems.
