Summary

This job is for a math teacher at a youth treatment center in Michigan, where you'll teach math to students, plan lessons, track their progress, and communicate with staff about their behavior and needs.

Provide classroom instruction to students at MYTC. Plan and prepare lessons, oversee and facilitate the learning activity, and evaluate student progress. Provide ongoing communication (verbally and in writing) about student progress and notable behaviors to other teachers, and other staff (treatment team). Observe and record student’s classroom behaviors as required for special education documentation.

    This position is located at the Michigan Youth Treatment Center (MYTC), 400 N. Rose Street, Mt. Clemens, MI. and the selected incumbent will be required to physically report to this office. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
