Full Job Description

This position is located at USAG Rheinland-Pfalz - MWR, Baumholder Rolling Hills Golf Course, Baumholder, Germany. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Must be able to communicate in English (both written and verbal) Knowledge of basic math. Experience in retail sales and cash register operations.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Working knowledge of basic golf operations.

RecTrac (or similar golf related POS) experience. Applicant meeting the Best Qualifying Criteria/Highly Preferred will be referred to the hiring manager.

All other qualified applicants will be referred if requested by the hiring manager. Claimed experience must be verifiable through your resume. Assumptions will not be made. Major Duties:

• Provides customer service support in a Golf Course retail store (Pro-Shop) by demonstrating and selling specialized golf merchandise.
• Maintaining merchandise by stocking shelves, displaying goods, pricing all merchandise, keeping the area neat and orderly, performing minor cleaning as assigned and assisting management with inventory.
• Must be familiar with golf programs offered in order to provide patrons with information concerning available services in any area of the facility.
• Makes reservations for tee times and answers questions regarding golf programs and events.
• Provides prompt and courteous service with a positive attitude towards guests in order to project a positive image of the activities and programs. Receives payment, records sales on cash register and makes change and issues receipts.
