Full Job Description

You will serve as a SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST (TACTICAL) in the MARINE FORCES RESERVE of MARFORRES NOLA.

The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze.

Offers of employment related to this vacancy announcement will not be executed until the position has an approved exemption.

GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:Providing technical advice on safety programs to commands and implementing technical safety standards, codes, and safety requirements for a variety of operations GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

  • You will support and assist accident investigations, reporting, and analyses of tactical and training related injury and property damage accidents.
