We want you in the Department of Student Life as our next Russell House Events Coordinator!

Primary duties include:


• Scheduling events and activities in the Russell House University Union and select campus locations

• Event planning with students, faculty, staff and external clients

• Educating users on facility policies and appropriate utilization of the Russell House University Union and points beyond.

• Hire, train, and supervise student employees and interns/graduate assistants.

• Provide oversight for Information Desk and assist with communications to facility stakeholders and users

• Manage and develop budgets.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a university setting with activities and event planning.

• Knowledge of an event planning software.

• Understanding of student development theory.

Pending graduates will be considered if they will be able to obtain their degree by the date of employment.
