This job involves analyzing sales data for the Pennsylvania Lottery to spot trends, evaluate promotions, and suggest ways to boost sales and improve products, all to support funding for older residents.
You'll handle routine reports, gather and clean data, and help with bigger research projects in a supportive team environment.
It's a great fit for someone with a business or data background who enjoys working with numbers and has some sales or marketing experience.

As a Research Analyst 1, you will be responsible for conducting research to identify trends and make recommendations for promotions and improvements to the Lottery’s product portfolio or departmental policies or procedural changes.
You will also participate in systems analysis and operational research studies to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of current programs, policies, and systems, in addition to assisting with developing recommendations based upon study findings.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to three days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Middletown. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
