Requirements

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for orchestrating comprehensive consumer care by overseeing nursing personnel, implementing evidence-based clinical practices, and continuously evaluating service delivery. Your primary focus will be to ensure consistent, high-quality supervision while serving as a vital clinical resource and observer of support services. You will work in collaboration with fellow supervisors to cultivate a supportive team culture and uphold a safe environment for staff and consumers. Additionally, you will lead staff development initiatives and ensure strict adherence to organizational policies. To succeed, you will utilize your professional training and specialized expertise to exercise independent judgment and make critical decisions that enhance the standard of care.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
• Work hours are 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM (3rd shift), with a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays. This may change based on operational needs.
  • 3rd shift receives $1.15 per hour shift differential
• Overtime as operationally necessary
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Three years as a Registered Nurse (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Four years of professional nursing experience providing care and treatment services consistent with those needed for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness and/or a developmental disability.

Special Requirements:

• This position requires active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• If you possess an active temporary practice permit, you must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
  

Other Requirements:

• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirement:

• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
  • Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
