- Registered Nurse duties in a correctional facility performs professional nursing role similar to outpatient services in the community.
- Registered nurses participate in the management of the nursing care of patients within a health care environment; provide clinical leadership and assist practitioners; plans and conducts educational sessions, including teaching that requires a registered nursing license; administers medication, triage patient complaints and coordinates the care of residents in a correctional environment with multi-disciplinary team which includes physicians, psychologists, psychiatrists, optometrists & dentists E-Verify and Right to Work The State of Iowa participates in E-Verify, a federal program that helps employers confirm the employment eligibility of all newly hired employees.
Within the required timeframe, new hires will be verified through the E-Verify system to ensure authorization to work in the United States.
