This role involves leading and delivering nursing care for children and adolescents in a state mental health facility, including supervising staff, administering medications, and stepping in as the shift charge nurse.
It suits experienced registered nurses who enjoy managing teams and providing hands-on care in a supportive environment focused on youth well-being.
Ideal candidates are organized leaders comfortable with evening or overnight shifts in a government health setting.

Oversees and participates directly in patient care utilizing skills and knowledge. Supervises and participates in the provision of nursing care utilizing auxiliary personnel.
Contributes to the administrative functioning of the nursing unit(s) by acting as an eight hour Charge Nurse. Provides direct and indirect patient care and administers medications.
Responsible to Registered Nurse Manager 2.
The preferred and appointed candidate will be subject to pre-employment, random, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, return-to-duty and follow-up drug and/or alcohol testing.
