What You’ll DoAs an RN at IVH, you will serve as the leader of a direct care team:• Provide and oversee licensed treatments for up to 30 residents.• Assess and evaluate resident conditions, take appropriate action, and adjust care plans.• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes.• Lead and mentor Resident Aides, CNAs, Medication Aides, and LPNs.• Respond to acute changes in residents with professionalism, skill, and compassion.Flexible Scheduling OptionsEvening Shift: 10 hour shifts (12:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.), 1 out of 3 weekends.Day/Eve extended shifts: 14-hour shifts (6:00 a.m.-8:30 p.m.) 1 out of 3 weekends.Weekend Package Shifts: (6 a.m.-8:30 p.m.) (Applicant must work a minimum of 32 hours every weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and will be paid a lump-sum of $8,000 in retention payments, paid out over 26 pay periods. Qualifications
Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa by the Iowa Board of Nursing or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact Administrator's Agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
