This job involves providing nursing care to youth in a secure juvenile rehabilitation facility, handling everything from emergency medical responses to routine health screenings and education for residents and staff.

Salary: $41.98 - $68.83 Hourly, $87,648.00 - $143,712.00 Yearly. The posted salary does not include an additional 5% premium pay for employees working in an on-site 24/7 facility. Supplemental shift differentials are applied for weekend hours, swing shift, and between the hours of 11pm-7am.
Work hours/shifts: Various. On-Call positions are typically pre-scheduled with variable shifts.
The Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) is looking for Registered Nurses to perform activities and interventions that promote health, wellness, and safety for residents and staff at Echo Glen Children’s Center, a Juvenile Rehabilitation maximum security residential facility.

The Opportunity:
We need your nursing skills to take charge of emergency medical situations and act as a liaison between the community and residents providing professional nursing services for youth committed by the courts to a secure juvenile rehabilitation institution.
As an important member of the Health Center Team, you will treat residents according to physician orders and encourage resident accountability using the integrated treatment plan.

Professionals who hold a valid Washington State license to practice as a registered professional nurse.

Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing, AND one year of professional nursing experience.
