About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Aquatics Center, Ramstein AB, Germany. This position does not offer logistical support.
Responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and executes instruction for adults in a group and /or individual setting for at least one or more areas of specialty water instructions that include aquatic exercise, aerobics class or Zumba classes.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Able to show experience which provides a basic understanding of the rules, regulations, and practices and procedures directly related to the duties required of the position, and demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities essential to successfully perform the duties identified.
Desired nationally recognized certification for the type of activity and skill levels instructing. Must have physical endurance to teach 1 hour lesson.
Should be able to work flex schedule or shift work that includes morning, evenings or weekend shifts.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Major Duties:
Responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and executes instruction for adults in a group and /or individual setting for at least one or more areas of specialty water instructions that include aquatic exercise, aerobics class or Zumba classes.
Coordinates the planning and scheduling of all classes, programs and events with the direct supervisor, aquatics director or programmer.
Work with the facility programmer to ensure classes are promoted through marketing channels. Will provide feedback about programs to supervisor.
Ensure feedback is given to students or participants to encourage health and fit participation.
Will act as a liaison between the Aquatic Center and the participants to enforce and explain operational procedure, Health and Safety rules, class policies, payment and other program participants to enforce and explain program information.
Responsible for setting up and taking down all support equipment prior to and after scheduled class times. Communication equipment needs to supervisor in a timely manner.
Organizes and assists with the upkeep and cleanliness of equipment and storage areas. Assures compliance with facilities operating instruction and program must meet current AF program requirements.
Receives and settles complaints or reports the more serious problems to the supervisor on duty and/or Aquatics Director.
May perform other related duties as assigned for daily operation of the facility.
