A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1.
Substantial knowledge of the rules of the sport to be officiated as evidenced by documented training sessions or seminars that instructed specific rules and regulations, or extensive experience coaching and/or playing the sport which would have provided the same level of knowledge OR 2.
Possession of a valid license or recognized national association credential or certificate for sports officials.* 3.
