Job Description

Summary

This job is about working in a recreational facility on a military base, where you'll help people use equipment, resolve complaints, and organize fun events like tournaments and classes to keep everyone active and satisfied.

Experience MUST be clearly reflected on your Resume at the time of application to be considered Major Duties:

  • In a patron usage facility, circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery.
  • Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc.
  • Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions.
  • Routinely and independently picks up, carries, replaces, and organizes weight equipment such as dumbbells, barbells, and weight plates weighing up to 45 pounds
  • Receives and provides assistance from other staff members when moving, replacing, or organizing weight equipment that exceeds 45 pounds. Performs other duties as assigned.
