This job involves helping run outdoor recreation programs for the U.S.
Army community in Germany, including planning and leading activities like hiking, skiing, camping, and biking trips, as well as driving groups in a van.
It's a great fit for someone energetic with hands-on experience in outdoor adventures who enjoys organizing events and teaching others safely.
Knowledge of German and winter sports certification would make you stand out.
This position is located at USAG Rheinland-Pfalz - MWR, Pulaski Outdoor Recreation Program. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).
Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
A qualified candidate must possess the following: One (1) year experience within an Outdoor Recreation program that offers some of the following activities and trips: skiing, camping, canoeing, rock climbing, hiking and biking.
OR Four (4) year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with major study or at least 24 semester hours in courses related to recreation or physical education.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": 1.
Ability to speak, read and communicate in German. 2. Ski or Snowboard Instructor Certification and skills to teach safely in winter programs. *Certification must be uploaded with application* 3.
Experience with outdoor recreation programs including hunting, fishing, safety rules, equipment use and regulation.
