Job Description

Summary

This job involves helping run a fitness center in Germany by handling equipment for users, collecting fees, maintaining the facility, and ensuring everything is ready for activities.

It's a support role where you'll follow instructions from a team leader and keep things organized and clean.

A good fit would be someone with customer service experience in a recreational or similar setting, who is reliable and detail-oriented.

Full Job Description

This position is located at USAG Stuttgart- MWR, Panzer Fitness Center, Stuttgart, Germany. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Experience securing a facility (opening and closing duties). Experience in issuing equipment to customers.

Experience in collection of fees (ex: registration for trip, payment of rented equipment etc.). Experience in inventory monitoring (ex. Supplies, equipment etc).

  • Works as an assistant for the Facilities Operations Team Leader who makes specific assignments, explains polices and procedures and reviews work for quantity and quality of completed projects.
  • Issues/receives recreational equipment to authorized users. Collects applicable fees for items issued, accounts for monies collected safeguards funds and makes daily bank deposits
  • Cleans recreation equipment, supplies and facility area. Operates equipment and performs self-help maintenance on facilities and equipment.
  • Coordinates with program staff to ensure adequate equipment is available in sufficient time to conduct program activities. Inspects equipment when turned in and collects pre-set fees for damages
