About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Offutt Event Center on Offutt AFB. Who May Apply: Open to everyone.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: This position requires experience that provides a working familiarity with the routines and procedures associated with group activities or programs.
Candidates should have practical knowledge and experience with recreational activities, including equipment, rules, and procedures specific to their area of expertise.
Strong oral and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all leadership levels, including civilians, enlisted personnel, and officers.
Candidates must demonstrate skill in addressing customer service issues and have knowledge of hospitality, recreational facilities, rental operations, and military operations.
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and sales operations is also necessary. While knowledge in fields such as hospitality, event planning, or outdoor recreation is preferred, it is not mandatory.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, along with a valid motor vehicle operator's license. Physical requirements include the ability to lift, bend, walk, or stand for extended periods.
Repeated lifting or moving of equipment is necessary, and candidates must be able to climb ladders up to 10 feet high and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
This position is designated for drug testing; the incumbent will be subject to random drug testing.
Condition(s) of Employment: Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation (Tier 1 Level) is required. Negative drug test result is required.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Major Duties:
Types of duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Receiving telephone calls and visitors, providing requested information from personal knowledge and office files, or referring callers to the appropriate source.
Conducts in-person interactions and tours regarding the usage of facilities. Assisting in recording, coordinating, scheduling, and managing facility calendars for reservations.
Inputting and reviewing the schedule of events to ensure they are executed as planned.
Charging appropriate facility rental and usage fees, and completing all related monetary transaction paperwork, deposits, and reports.
Providing customer service, instruction, and guidance to customers for functions taking place within multi-purpose facilities.
Conducting room check-in and check-out procedures for all scheduled events and issuing facility keys as needed.
Carrying out recurring group activities such as classes, clubs, special events, outreach programs, competitive games, and self-directed leisure activities.
Recommending new programming activities, including the format and resources required for each activity.
Gathering information from various sources, including past programs and currently popular programs in other communities, to evaluate what meets the needs of specific clientele groups.
Assisting individuals with special interests in developing clubs or special interest groups. Aiding in the promotion of marketing strategies. Setting up rooms to meet the needs of meeting groups.
Collecting fees and securing funds. Decorating the facility to reflect holiday themes and program themes. Reporting facility repairs and maintenance requirements according to established procedures.
Assisting in maintaining the facility to meet operational standards. Collaborating with other staff members, volunteers, and individual or personal services contract personnel.
