Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
A qualified candidate must possess and maintain the following: Lifeguarding and First Aid (American Red Cross or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Star Guard, YMCA, or ELLIS).
American Red Cross "Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional. CPR for the Professional Rescuer/AED or equivalent (American Heart Association CPR/AED).
First Aid NOTE: The above minimum qualifications must be described within the duties of previous work experience listed on the applicant's resume and/or supporting documents.
A copy of all documents must be submitted at the time of application. Major Duties:
- Open and close the facility, including working weekends and holidays to meet business needs.
- Attend all training and in-service meetings and complete annual requirements in a timely manner.
- Swim regularly and practice rescue skills, first aid, and CPR.
- Arrive for work on time and in the proper Fort Bliss MWR uniform.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and model excellent customer service for patrons and personnel.
