This job involves working at the Information, Tickets and Travel office on Luke Air Force Base in Arizona, where you'll help customers with travel info, sell tickets, and handle cash transactions.

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Information, Tickets and Travel Office on Luke AFB.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Basic computer such as office automation software and Windows based operating system. Cash handling and customer service experience.
General travel industry knowledge highly desirable. Major Duties:
Greet customers, answers inquiries directly and over the telephone. Provides information regarding ticket availability, local area attractions, special events and ticket pricing.
Uses cash register, calculator, credit card machine, fax machine and other office equipment.
Ensures information displays are fully stocked, orders brochures and flyers from local and regional tourism bureaus, chambers of commerce, municipal, state and federal government agencies.
Completes daily cashier documentation including sales reports, cashier reports, and bank deposits.
