About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Community Activity Center, Beale AFB, CA.
Position is flexible, not guaranteed hours and does not receive benefits, but could work between 0-40 hours per week.
This position has physical lifting requirements which requires the incumbent to complete a favorable pre-employment physical. This position is a drug tested position. Who May Apply: Open to everyone.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules, and procedures.
Ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities are desirable; however, no experience is required. Major Duties:
Performs and/or assists other recreation assistants or specialists in the operation and maintenance of indoor and/or outdoor recreational facilities.
Types of duties include but are not limited to the following: Sets up recreation areas for scheduled activities; records attendance; takes reservations and payment for room reservations, Instructional classes, and special events; notifies participants of schedule changes: decorates community or neighborhood centers or recreation centers for special events, activities, or parties; checks the established safety system of indoor and outdoor recreation facilities and areas, tools, and equipment; posts announcements of scheduled activities and answers inquiries about item, place, transportation, or other matters related to activities scheduled; takes inventory of authorized recreation supplies and equipment; and helps with group activities which require more than one staff monitor, performing specifically assigned tasks.
Assist in the Operation of the Base Theater: Sets up/breaks down concession, this includes Nacho Cheese, Nacho, Hot Dogs, popcorn, pretzel and condiments stations.
Insures concession area is presentable and clean during operations.
