About the position: This position will be assigned to the Bowling Center at Robins AFB. This position does not offer benefits. Who May Apply: Open to everyone.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: Practical knowledge of bowling activities and rules, preferred. Use of a cash register and knowledge of bowling equipment desired.

Knowledge of computers and bowling automatic scoring system is desirable; however, no experience is required. Major Duties:

Responsible for manning the customer service desk within the bowling center. Assignments include a wide variety of tasks such as those described. Collects and accounts for cash assigned.

Provides customers with information about programs and events happening within the bowling operations of the facility. Assign lanes, issues rental shoes and rental lockers.

Receives fees related to the bowling program including rental shoes, lineage fees, lockers, birthday party fees, pro shop sales and special function fees.

Assists patrons in the selection of bowling equipment and is available to answer any questions.

Receives cash and credit card payments from customers while securing these forms of payment and prepares reports for tracking purposes.

Answers telephone, maintains center in a neat and sanitary condition. Able to perform minor work on pin-spotters. Performs other related duties as assigned.
