Every day our Records and Information Management Specialist coordinates the overall direction of the Records Management Program, collaborates with the Region, Headquarters USCIS, and Field Office officials to formulate and apply existing records management policies, guidelines, and procedures that impact the Field Offices and other components within DHS.

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service.

GS-13: You qualify at the GS-13 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have experience performing the following duties: Analyzing the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of administrative programs; Developing standard operating procedures for administrative programs; Serving as an adviser on records issues and makes recommendations on changes in policy and procedures; Evaluating and analyzing issues that support the contracting function and govern compliance of contractors.
